On September 24, at the 13th China Bioindustry Conference held in Wuhan, Zhong Nanshan, the winner of the "Medal of the Republic", the leader of the high-level expert group of the National Health Commission, and an academician of the CAE Member, said that the COVID-19 continued to exist or develop this winter and next spring. At the plenary session of the Guangdong Youth League, Zhong Nanshan, a deputy to the National People's Congress and president of Guangzhou Medical College, once again called for attention to air pollution, saying that haze was worse than SARS.
As the autumn weather becomes increasingly dry, dust and haze in the air also begin to wreak havoc, so the fresh air system needs to be regularly maintained!
If the fresh air system is not maintained, there are 5 main problems that may occur:
1、 The filter screen is clogged with dust and the airflow has decreased;
2、 The PM2.5 concentration in the fresh air coming in from outside is getting higher and higher because the efficiency of the filter decreases;
3、 The noise is getting louder and louder, and I wish I could turn off my sleep at night;
4、 The control part is prone to malfunction due to the accumulation of dust and moisture on the components;
5、 The heat exchange efficiency decreases, and the incoming fresh air in summer becomes increasingly hot.
How to properly maintain the fresh air system?
1、 Regularly replace or clean the filter screen.
When the fresh air system is running, the air outlet will absorb a large amount of dust in the air due to static electricity, which can easily breed bacteria and affect aesthetics and health. The high-efficiency filter cannot be cleaned and can only be replaced. According to the manufacturer's instructions, some medium efficiency filters can be washed with water and some can be vacuum cleaned, but it is also recommended to replace them after cleaning once or twice. These filters should be replaced or cleaned at least twice a year. In places like Beijing and Hebei, to ensure good filtration efficiency, they need to be replaced or cleaned every two to three months.
2、 Regularly clean the indoor air vents.
The accumulation of dust on indoor air vents, especially the exhaust vents, can directly affect their appearance and be unhygienic over time. They need to be wiped with a damp cloth. Outdoor air vents are usually dirtier. If this vent happens to be on the first floor, it is relatively easy and can be cleaned by oneself. If it is a high-level operation involving high-altitude work, professional maintenance personnel should be hired for safety reasons.
3、 Maintenance of other accessories.
Mainly including: cleaning of the inner wall of the air duct, cleaning of the outdoor air outlet, cleaning of the internal heat exchanger filter element of the fresh air fan, maintenance of the fan, detection of air leakage in the air duct, and maintenance of the electrical part; In addition, some high-end fresh air systems also involve regular calibration of various sensors. It is recommended to entrust these tasks to professionals.
The energy consumption of the fresh air system is not only related to the performance of the product itself, but also greatly affected by later maintenance. Proper maintenance can reduce energy consumption to a certain extent. So it is necessary to regularly clean the air inlet of the fresh air fan to avoid blockage, and replace the filter screen regularly.
